Re: Performance Driving

... able to put what you know to good practice in a RWD car.. FWD requires a different style and same with AWD. The main thing for me is being in the right gear and carrying the corner speed (I drive a 1.4 Fiesta). If the back end starts skipping a little then I know I'm there or there abouts. It's ...

Re: Head or Heart?

... is the swiss watch and the Daytona is semi exotic and will need a bit of tinkering. My Daytona 650 was pretty reliable over the 7 years I had it, right up to the point that the gear box ate the crank case. I can't seem to shake the Friday afternoon bike feeling like the old Dukes. Is that really ...

Re: CBR 600rr refresh

Yeah. Maybe refresh isn't the right word. Tidy up maybe? Thanks all so far. Plugs and filters done last year, but good point. Bike will stay as a road bike, I don't think I'd get away with a track weapon, it's almost too good. It's almost ...

Re: Polite? police? twat!

... it's about how you can deal with the situation if the driver is hesitant on a junction or something. There's too many people who want to be right up your are on a 70 MPH stretch of motorway or even in 30s, the baby on board sign just signifies the fact that endangering one life is bad enough ...

Kids, right? See, empty house bar me, usually. Swearing at the walls, doors, pots and pans etc etc is quite cathartic.

... on them. As has been said, if a driver fails to spot a large green motorbike with headlights on it he's not going to see the rider. Frankie is right, people don't pay attention. You only have to go on to youtube to see how many videos a day are posted of drivers doing something without looking.

Right, cheers.

I only really followed the GPs online last season, but they get constant concessions in the superbikes, so I wondered.

I plan on doing Oulton this year and if the dates fall right I will definitely go at the same time as others on here.

I'm likely to do Oulton sometime late June-September. Would be nice to meet you all

Re: Grease ninja - Chain oiler

The instructions on my Würth lube say to spay from the left and right ie aiming for the sides of the chain whereas that one in the video seems to spray mainly from above. I think I'm going to invest in a Scotoiler for my next bike. Does anyone use them? ...

I tried one and didn't like it. You still need to clean the chain and I seemed to spend ages trying to get it set up right so it wasn't flinging oil all over the place.

Re: Slappers in France - June 2016

Daft question but how do they make a 3 hour ferry trip into an over nighter? I think they do slow down. Tbh the seats are all right for one overnight. I don't bother with a cabin as they can be expensive, but they do do 4 berth which sharing the cost may help. The overnight never seems ...
