Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

... left home at 9:45. Google maps was set to avoid main roads, and it did a good job. Ended up with about 13 miles of dual carriage way somewhere the other side is Swindon, apart from that it was pretty much all single carriage way country lanes. The occasional town got in the way. The final stretch ...

Re: Just one bike

IMO the 790 is a fun bike to ride and great for commuting, but I don't think its special enough to be a second bike. The 1290 SDR on the other hand ;) ;)

Personally I would put it on a purchase list, but you have to test ride one just for the crack.

One week down...

... I love it out here. I'm topping up my t-shirt tan that the UK summer blessed me with, I'm getting fed, I only have to share my room with one other bloke, not 3 like many out here do, and it's got air-con in which is a massive blessing. I've just started doing nights now, which means less ...

Re: Mr Postman

Thanks for that CT, we bought (and still have!) MiniGee one of these back when Kiddimoto was a one man band, it was one of his favourite toys ever. It made a huge difference when it came to a proper pushbike, like you I’d definitely recommend it to other parents (and Grandparents!) ;)

Re: This heatwave

No I will not complain about this weather. Ok we get humid heat but I'd rather that than what we get for the other 11 months of the bloody year. I'm sure we didn't get a good summer last year so this year making the most of it!! Let it continue in my opinion
