Re: Carillion on the brink of administration

... 30,000 sub contractors at risk, with around 1.7 billion quid owed! The knock on effect in my industry alone is going to be painful. Yes other will pick up the work, but it will kill off a few I am sure of that. They say they will look to protect Govenment contracts, but the private stuff ...

Re: Triumph tiger 800 ?

... on mine were going rusty under the black paint, which was popping the paint, and the pain in the back side it was to clean the spokes ha ha. Other than that the bike had done some serious miles without a cough... Took me all the way down to Croatia and back without any moans... did not get ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

I like the new 2018 one they've done in white and blue.

Not cheap though and they're down on power compared to other bikes in that field.

If I do drop to one bike I'm going to take a look around at a few adventure style bikes. Triumph, KTM Ducati and BMW all have some decent offerings.

Re: New lid time

... being one. Only thing I find frustrating is the wind noise on the air ducts (extract side) they do tend to whistle on mine in certain condition. Other than that, which is a very small gripe, they are very good value lids. I wear this over the GT air I bought every time, I was very dissapointed ...

Re: McGuiness on a Norton this year

I think more the other way round.

Honda have a reputation for pulling the plug on big name riders once they feel they are no longer useful to the Company.

My back has been playing up again so I went to see the physio the other day. He told me, with pursed lips that my lower abs are protruding. Which was a sugar-coated way of saying I'm fat and have weak abs! :D ;( Anyway, all the work I've been doing to strengthen ...
