Re: What are you doing today ??

... they would have make their minds up, then put me on a list. I could have been sitting around for 6 months with a broken arm. I went private the next week. Booked an appointment Wednesday morning. Got a call Wednesday afternoon with my options, had the operation the following week.

Re: Brexit Round 2

How does May calling a GE solve anything for her? Surely it’s her own Party she needs to convince.

She also said just a few weeks ago that she would not be standing in the next GE.

She would need at least 100 new Tory MPs who would support her.

So the 11.6” laptop on offer was the 2 in 1 style HP x360 in an education edition (gorilla glass, rubberised cover, water resistant) with 3 yr next day onsite service and accidental damage protection for less than I could find it standalone anywhere else. So gone for that. SSD and smaller screen ...

Re: Brexit Round 2

... in a complex situation but for me we voted fairly to leave and we wrote that into law and if no deal can be reached we need to get ready for the next step which is to leave on the 29th. I accept that won't be popular with everyone but really what is the point of making laws if we have little ...

Re: Brexit Round 2

We are only at stalemate in negotiating with the EU. The next step is leave on the 29th as the law stipulates. Moving forward we prepare for a No Deal and ready ourselves for any foreseeable issues we may have to overcome.

Re: Brexit Round 2

... to see it through. We need to prepare for a No Deal now and even that is too late. We should have negotiated for 12 months max and then spent the next 12 month's preparing ourselves to be in the best position for our future.

Re: Brexit Round 2

... second referendum The PMs cross party talks will involve the Conservatives and the DUP! So much for making progress. Watch sterling crash over the next couple of weeks (which leavers will tell us is a good thing) it's going to be a bumpy ride.
