... suggested that one of the reasons Putin took The Crimea because they couldn't afford to pay the rent to Ukraine. A bit of muscle flexing overseas looks good for Putin and makes the Russians feel better about themselves. The 2018 World Cup could be interesting.

Re: 5p for a carrier bag
... at the amount of bags the shops use to pack stuff in, it's a good job they fit our swing bin perfectly as a bin liner. ;) That basket above looks great, lots of nice vittles, mine somehow never look that good, it's the toilet rolls that spoil the look I think.

Re: Syria, Immigrants and world politics.
They've taken Georgia and The Crimea. Syria draws a nice line. This looks like the way modern Russia takes countries, knowing that no one is going to retaliate.

The bike seems very stable and handling looks good, especially when you consider the weight of the thing.

Re: Textile trousers
It looks like Red675 is using Motocard and it's the Dainese trousers that are playing him up.
I need to wait for rain to see if washing the Rukka trousers worked. They leak when they start to get dirty as the goretex gets clogged up.

This camera looks very similar to what I use now, great camera, excellent price, excellent picture. I have mine on the faring. Been used a while now, has worked in torrential downpours, worth a buy imo.

Lucky Blade junior, good to hear you're enjoying the experience of seeing him develop & learn. That makes it your money well spent IMHO mate.
On a related, am I the only one who looks at that & remembers the first bike I ever had.
