Re: Ulster GP Highlights

Cheers Cookie. It was on BBC NI over the race weekend so watched it already.

Hicky and Dean Harrison are moving raod racing on which is great but they ride the roads like a short circuit and one day I fear something bad will happen.

... with the test, you sound like you will follow the examiners instructions so I think you won't have any problems. And the MT-07/XSR700 should be a great bike to start on.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

... this part. When we reached the end we heard something, loud, really flipping loud, actually scared me. What was that noise, is it my bike, 'oh great' passed through my head. Was it my mates bike, no, was it a Lambo that we didn't see, got louder and louder *looked up* a massive RAF transport ...

Re: Journey to Biking

Great post! Your a thinker clearly so you will be fine whatever you do. From a learning and test standpoint, you wont learn much apart from a little confidence, how to ride basically on the roads and to pass your test. You ...

Re: Mrs Trump

... two terms...at least for the last century or so. We need another Obama, as much as I lean towards the Republicans, there's no denying he was great for the country....both internally, and internationally. No sense of scandal about the man, no matter how much The Right tried to prove otherwise.

Re: Just one bike

... rider on a 1090 was trying to leave me in the twistys and couldn't, we had to pull over and wait for the rest of the pack to catch up. Re: Just one bike

IMO the 790 is a fun bike to ride and great for commuting, but I don't think its special enough to be a second bike. The 1290 SDR on the other hand ;) ;)

Personally I would put it on a purchase list, but you have to test ride one just for the crack.
