... others, and often were targets themselves just so they couldn't 'repair' wounded soldiers who would then be able to return to duty. There's a great story somewhere about a Brit. medic and a German medic duking it out, and the whole battlefield falling silent to watch.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Very long day today, so been in the man cave all night since I got back, replacing the pads on the S1 and the gixer.
They were not great, I think both will stop pretty well now lol....the suzuki's pads were shocking, I think I left the, way too long! Doh!

Triumph daytona 600
... It has a few marks/scratches as you would expect from a bike of this age, the worst of which are the stone chips to the headlights (now covered – great to be wise after the event!). I have regularly had comments on how clean and how well looked after the bike is. It has been well maintained, cleaned ...

... generally made out of cheese? I've not heard too many glowing reports about their build quality. I like the SX, it ticks most boxes. It's not the greatest looking bike I know but you get a lot for your money. It's great for work and I had no complaints about it when I toured in France. There's ...

Showed them the Triumph and got a case of the guilts as they were great dealers, proper bike people, so I did full disclosure on the Triumph.
