Re: Journey to Biking

... Twins over the next few days. Like the idea of the ultra-low seat height for confidence, and I love the styling. Just slightly worried about getting it in and out of my stupid, sloped, narrow drive. Not sure how I'll turn it round. But we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. I reckon ...

1050 Speed Triple RS

... wind. It's a naked so you expect a wind blast but the front cowling pushes the blast towards your chest so there's no helmet wobble when you're getting a shift on. For a bike dripping in carbon, Brembos and Ohlins, it's a surprise not to have a quickshifter as standard. Most sports bike do now ...

Re: Mrs Trump

Has anyone been watching Ed Balls in the USA speaking with Trump supporters?

You can see why they've been won over - tax cuts and rhetoric. They're all impressed by the fact he's a businessman, not a politician.

I can see him getting in on a second term.

Re: Milan Bike Show - 9th -11th November 2018

Good flights from Manchester.

Midday outbound and midday return.

£51 with Ryanair

Or

£100 with flybe.

Obviously Ryanair are the cheapest but they keep cancelling flights due to strikes so not that confident of getting there and subsequently loosing money on hotels and show tickets.

Re: The new improved fitness thread

... week as well. 2.51 miles in 24:37 is a little off my UK pace but it'll get better. Feels good to be back working out properly again. Although I am getting very sweaty out here!

One week down...

... isn't it? Now imagine you're in a four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft that's been in that car park all day, and within seconds of getting into the cockpit you can see a sheen of moisture all over your body! Not that I'm complaining, I love it out here. I'm topping up my t-shirt ...

Monster test rides

... quick shifter and 150bhp. Bike too a few minute to get used to as you are hunched a big over the front wheel, or at least it feels like that after getting off the Multi. The engine is lovely. Booked it in for some new tyres to be fitted. Going to try Bridgestone BT 016 PRO. A mate gets these and say they are very good. Getting it done at a new place I've never been to (new to me) because only heard good things about it and also they are cheap. Place is called Ride In Bike Tyres ...
