Re: Cav's Workshop

... Fiancé's way inside the house... My main concern was the cold causing the leather to crack or something!? Didn't know if that was a thing. As for getting changed.. I'd happily get changed out the front of my house on my drive - it doesn't bother me! (lol) Probably a good idea with the airing out ...

Re: Cav's Workshop

I suppose it depends on whether you like getting dressed inside a garage or inside a house??

Let them air out in the garage then move them inside afterwards. Spray them with Febreeze

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

... NCB on your 2nd bike seeing as you're already with them? I'd consider the 6 wheel policy though.. get your car transferred to it - unless you're getting rid of the car anyway

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

... my place there's been a big change in dynamic in the last 3 years due to the big drive to get women in Engineering. Significantly more training is getting pushed on us about harassment, bullying, equality, sexualisation, god knows how many courses I've taken. All it does it make everyone super-cautious ...

Re: What are you doing today ??

... wife's car. Got to use my new brake pad gauge too so pleased with the little job. Upcycled an old chest of draws I've had 20 years and felt wrong getting ridden of them, so there now shelves in a triple wardrobe I keep biking gear in, in the spare room. Took some rubbish up the tip and helped ...

Re: Cav's Workshop

The walls are getting insulated when I'm back from Portugal in April and covered in Ply. I'll be painting them after that ;)

I'm already on the look out for bike memorabilia as well as some photo frames for my own photos

Re: Cheap commuter hack

Don't want blingy, more risk of it getting nicked I reckon. Would also prefer to buy from a dealer near by if I can.

Re: Cheap commuter hack

Yep, I would go with the Honda as well. Those VRFs are pretty solid and the engines are a peach. The trumpet is a good shout but between the two I would go for the Jap just for peace of mind on daily use and getting parts if you need them.
