Nah.....leather is pretty good in the cold....leave it out in freezing temps & it may be cool or even cold to the touch, but it won't freeze the way pleather does.

colour of the bike doesn't seem to matter. Either they see you or they don't. The only bike I've owned where you're really noticed is the AT. Even then you have to have the fog lights on. I'm not convinced by Hi-Viz at all, I got pulled out on when I wore it and still do now that I don't, some ...

A Hi-Vis vest would sort any potential visibility concerns for a tenner.
