Re: For fooks sake

... erroneous. Well if that's the case and I lose my no claims then I have no option but to sell the Street Triple. I struggle as it is to insure two bikes without a garage. I can't see me getting anything under 4 figures next renewal for two bikes if I've got a claim against me. The thought cheers ...

Re: For fooks sake

Glad your ok.

Shit news but bikes mend quicker than you buddy.

Not good though and hope it's as painless as possible.

Be careful riding home if you feel shaken and ensure the bike is road worthy with nothing loose which could cause a second accident.

Take it easy buddy.

Looking at the damage you did well to stay on the bike (whew)

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Looks like a lot of fun, Scuff. Wish I could justify another bike for off road trail use. Have you tried it Duke63 ? I think I could give up road bikes and not miss it but it would be very difficult for me to give up off roading. I have some great memorys from trackdays/racing but better memorys ...

Re: The Bonkers Weather

I did worry about that, fortunately the wind at home won’t hitting much above 20mph, and even the the bikes are placed under a foliage covered pergola built on 6”x6” uprights that’s in the lee of our neighbours house.
They’re about as safe as I can make them.

Re: Smoking on a Garage forecourt

... is worth the risk. You know that lovely smell you get filling your car/bike? That's butane vapour. I also don't agree with people sitting on their bikes filling up or leaving kids in cars in forecourts. Both cases if a fire happens you have limited the escape opportunities. I've seen videos of ...

Much cheaper than a new radiator.

Re: 2017 Versys 650 Grand Tourer - ongoing review

Good kit. Had them on the last 3 bikes.

Radiators are silly money these days and easily damaged so a must habe accessory imo.

Re: Possible track day? - 5th November

103dB is pretty damn high to be honest and they tend to be a little more leniant on a less than full booking as the sound limit is based on X-number of bikes - if half turn up then they can all be twice as loud (kinda)
