Re: BMW S1000R Sport.

They're cracking bikes. They lack a bit of soul for me though. Maybe I've not spent enough time on one.

Re: Nutz's VFR 800

... them compared to the m7rr you've used a lot. They're advertised as a high mileage touring tyre. It's difficult to do a direct comparison as the bikes and riding styles are so different, and so are their demands on the tyres. I feel very confident with both tyres, and they both perform equally ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

... first time in nearly 2.5 years. She maybe 15 year old but she is tight, taught and handles an absolute dream (y) Not the quickest of accelerating bikes by a long margin, but deceptively quick for an old girl. 90 in top is a lazy 4500rpm so speed creeps up on you rather than hits you in the face ...

Re: Kwacky's ongoing Africa Twin Adventure Sport review

Still think it's mad that they paint an offroad bikes frame, especially as it's billed as a premium product. It should be powder coated imo.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

It's common for the eccentric chain adjuster to seize on SSSA bikes if they are not cleaned and lubed now and again.

It's worth removing and cleaning now and again when commuting in all weathers.

Re: What are you doing today ??

... using Tapatalk So the cycling was up and down. Bearing in mind the kids have only been cycling for a couple of weeks, and they were both on new bikes. The description of the trail was flat wife paths, with a little incline. Ideal for young families and new cyclists. I though this would be ideal. ...

Re: What are you doing today ??

Playing shed Jenga.

Turns out it's quite tricky to fit a load of bike gear, gardening crap, and 2 adult push bikes into a standard garden shed..

It is possible tough.
