Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Not my bike but I saw loads heading towards the NEC today. There were shedoads of Adventure bikes. Common as muck now. I had to chuckle at a new Tuono with rider and pillion. Those bikes don't look big enough for the rider, let alone a passenger. Fair play to them for ...

Re: What are you doing today ??

Totally appreciate that situation. Byron was up and down with bikes. Loved his balance bike when he was young but flipped at a big bike and had to go onto training wheels even though he had the balance skills already. Brided him with a video game at about ...

Weekend plans

... So it's dad jobs over the weekend. I need some more shelving for the spider room. I've got to get some hose and hose parts for washing the bikes. I need to do a bit of bulb planting before the frosts come. Both bikes need a wash and a scrub. I might get out on the AT on Sunday afternoon ...

Re: Norton Atlas

Very smart looking bikes.

Like Franky says, they seem to be popular at the moment.

Re: Milan Bike Show - a few thoughts

... and pretty but with all the RSV suspension, brakes and electronics. Perfect and as fast road bike, nothing more needed. The MV stand and their bikes. They still make the best looking bikes in the business. Mrs C loves them and wants an older F4. She also tried and liked the feel of the F3, ...

Milan Bike Show - a few thoughts

... Even around the accessory stands. I wouldn't mind seeing if I could get a media pass if I go back. Getting to a bike was a struggle. Some of the bikes were cordoned off but the cordon was close to the bike. If you wanted to see it you had to physically shove your way to the front. Taking photos ...

Re: Cookie's Street Triple 765 R

If this isn't too expensive I'm buying this next year for sure. Triumph are offering a TFT upgrade for all their current crop of bikes with TFT screens to include Google Navigation, GoPro controls and other phone stuff. Be great for touring. Oh and they have it at Milan so i'll be having ...

Re: Middleweights

... with what he has written I don't full agree. From what Ive read over the last few years, the sportsbike market shifted to high end 1000cc sportsbikes as buyers were declining and shifting away from Sportsbikes to Naked and Adventure bikes. The decrease in sporsbike sales meant the maunfacturers ...

A good post from Johnny Mack of Performance Bikes on their forum. I can see both sides of the argument: 2 hours ago, johnnymack63 said: This has been the subject of recent discussion at PB. In one corner, there is Chris "No one gives a **** ...

Re: New Panigale V4R

Not seen the R model close up but the other V4 bikes look better in the flesh than pictures imo.

Im guessing they are thinking along the lines of minitwin type bikes like SV650 and ER6 so Im sort of hoping they up the capacity so it can compete with the screamers

Re: Talking of silly over powered bikes..

... generl that not many can afford to buy and run one. I have to say they i would not trust myself with the V4 Panigale on the road. Where previous bikes got to xxxmph and then the pull starts to slow, the V4 was easily +30 on that and still pulling very very hard. That gives such a huge buzz, it ...
