Re: For fooks sake

Changes to the injury claims process are getting nearer

How many of you are aware that from October 2018 significant changes are being made to the injury claims process? It is going to affect many people, and in a lot of cases you will either have to do it yourself, or pay your own legal representation which means ...

Re: Star Wars - The Last Jedi

... failed. Luke has tried - we don't know the outcome, but it looks like he's failed as well. So that leaves Rey and Kylo. I suspect Luke will end up being a bit like Count Dooku - once a Jedi/Sith but disillusioned by it all. Luke will be on the light side of that compared to Dooku going to the dark. ...

Re: Brexit Round 2

I am old enough to have had what was actually (ironically) a black passport. I cannot remember my day to day life being any more satisfying as a result. My passport lives in a folder somewhere amongst other folders.. I do not see it day to day and I can honestly say that the colour ...

... membership but none of the disadvantages. Imagine going to any club and asking if you could have all the benefits of membership without actually being a member. The words '****' and 'off' are likely to be the answer.

Re: Brexit Round 2

Prices in my area took a big drop this time last year which is why we hurried to get a place in March just as prices started to rise. Our home would have been £195k a year previous to our offer being accepted, not the £178k we paid

Re: For fooks sake

... mate, glad your in one piece. Top skills to keep the bike up right. Hopefully it won't take too long to sort out, and hopefully the bloke was just being a dick. Another thought is that it could all be legal and above board, and he was in a bit of shock and being "informed" by his mates ...

I wonder if Mark Carney will decide to "retire" whilst they still appear to be in control of things, rather than being forced to react to situations.?

Re: Smoking on a Garage forecourt

Saw that earlier, bloody good work I say. Being in the Oil & Gas game with plenty of Fire Fighting experience I really get the sh*ts when I see people on phones and such on a forecourt. I'd probably do the same if I saw a smoker.
