Re: What do you want to vent about today?

Rossgo - Yes we are and my wage would cover all the bills if it had to during the fixed term period (2 years). Miss Cav has been doing voluntary work for a while now in order to build up her working hours. If needs be she could do part time workk So you can afford the bills so what's their problem ...

Re: Helmet recommendations

So I have now used the lid for approx. 190 miles yesterday. Will be using it throughout the whole weekend as away in Exmoor at the moment but my initial thoughts at first Comfy, looks good And has a sun visor. While riding The front seems quite long, as if I should have a beak or something for a mou...

Re: Helmet recommendations

With my AGV you have to wear it with the chin piece a little higher. It's designed to work that way so it's right in a race crouch. Push the chin bar up slightly before you do it up. Have a look at how Guy Martin wears his. Why would anyone design a helmet like This!!! Why not just make the viewing...

Re: Helmet recommendations

LOL I meant with the tape on. The top of the visor on my S4 sits very low down and it looks very similar. I got used to it on the Daytona and used it for 5 years as it only blocked out the sky. You aren't kidding Monty!!! Sits very low down and then makes it worse WITH the pinlock on the visor as e...

Re: Mr Postman

Not the postman but the Honda Dealer's delivery van came today to drop of my new toy (muscle) Up to my eyes in DIY in the new house so we just wheeled her into her birth in the garage next to her other Honda sister, but we obviously had to fire her up and hear her sing much to the new neighbours de...

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

Nationwide Building Society. What twunts!! They declined our mortgage application because of "undeclared credit" - there is none. After further probing they admitted the real reason which still makes no sense. Apparently they declare my girlfriends benefits income (PIP) as child tax credi...

Re: New speeding fines

No one maintains a constant speed.. most people probably drive +/- 2mph of their chosen speed. That could land you a fine of 50% of your weekly income. It happened to me yesterday, there were lots of pedestrians, cars pulling out etc which took most of my attention. I consciously kept my foot at a ...

Re: London council could start fining parents for driving ki

In a few more years you'll be right baxk doing the same thing. Very possibly! I've not followed my own advise and we drive our kids to school, but to be fair this is their school. http://www.bootsandpaws.co.uk/pics/wolf/peakdistrict3b.jpg There's no bus and you can't really expect 5 years olds to h...

Re: What are you doing today ??

D totally agree in 30s and 40s the posted limit is right and should be obeyed BUT on a clear stretch of motorway I don't think it's too much of a crime driving at 90MPH + what's the harm' yes we could spin out and crash BUT we could be hit by a bus or a lorry and we won't be getting up even at 30MPH...

Re: London council could start fining parents for driving ki

Agreed. There's a school just down the road these people also live just down the road but insist on driving and parking right outside the school blocking people's driveways...they are the laziest c^&ts going. Some of them live in the estate next to us and drive a 4 minute walk...its not even wor...

Think it's fair but id prefer to have less time effort and money spent on speeding motorists most aren't going to harm anyone
