Cheers Kwacky only I could do a Rookie mistake like that [emoji23][emoji23] . Rang up my dad and he said i bet its just because i was concentrating so much that I overlooked a simple thing like connecting the correct colours together! We shall see tomorrow! Sorry just thought I'd let everyone know i...

Re: Quickshifter Recommendations

Wrong up Translogic about 20 mins ago and they seem to think i have a PUSH SHIFT ROD SENSOR. I've worked on the theory of a PULL SHIFT ROD SENSOR. So i have loads of pics of the work but i took another look at the sensor wiring and low and behold I must have it wrong because the wire colours do not ...

Re: Quickshifter Recommendations

Would I be right to say, if a cable was broken or if I hadn't connected it up right to the coils the bike would splut and splurt!? Surely there would be an engine management light on as well? Wouldn't it be obvious to feel/ hear and see that something wasn't right? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Re: Quickshifter Recommendations

Hmmm. My shift rod is vertical but what I'll do is take a look just in case it's not doing what i assume it would do.

Re: Quickshifter Recommendations

I'll be honest didn't really look at that as i was basing it on Pull so didn't even acknowledge any other way!! I will take another look though!! Just seems strange surely all bikes would be the same when it's 1 DOWN 5 UP?!

Re: Quickshifter Recommendations

Quick question as I've seen lots of different things on the web now. So like i have mentioned my QS isn't working, could be a number of reasons BUT I have worked on the theory that I am using a PULL shift rod. Eg 1 DOWN 5 UP But now I'm looking into it and people have said the opposite. So is standa...

Re: What are you doing today ??

Off to the Newbury country show today. First year dogs are allowed to enter the show. Haven't been for 3 or 4 years but it's a good day. Dog shows, horse shows, car or motorcycle stunt shows, fresh food, dog accessory stalls etc.
