Re: VPN recommendations
I recently removed Hola and it's getting a hell of a lot of bad press at the moment: https://torrentfreak.com/hola-vpn-already-exploited-by-bad-guys-security-firm-says-150602/ http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-32958624 http://www.zdnet.com/article/hola-vpn-still-riddled-with-security-flaws-resear...

I think there were a few times when the police should have cracked some heads in that video. There will also more than likely be quite a few kids getting a knock at the door after the police footage and whatever gets posted online is reviewed. No need for it, you just move location and all is well a...

have you tried tugging on them with some pliers or something to see if they pop out? maybe they have a nut at the back though which has rusted in place.

Re: GMP unmarked HGV
I agree with the zero tolerance approach, it helps clear it up for the people that may have 1 or 2 with a meal then also. It's much easier to say if you drink anything at all, don't drive. Which is also my approach. I had a beer with my dinner tonight so the trip I needed to make to the shop was put...

Re: Baffling
My last bike didn't run right without the baffles in, it went really flat. After i changed the exhaust system it was both louder and more economical and i had a much better time in traffic with cars being able to hear me coming when filtering. I think a bit more noise is a good safety feature when f...

Re: Dash cams
I would say it's not so bad on the flats generally as they keep up a good pace mostly and just cause a minor inconvenience but I once got stuck behind a peloton on twisty, hilly country lanes which was a nightmare. I think it was an amateur race on open roads which took up a whole lane for about the...

I agree too as the poor barman would be the one who got smashed in the face when he/ she refused to give back the keys in nowadays society, or the other way to think of it is the landlord has to sign an agreemebt where they have to do it if they are to sell alcohol, that could be made law in which ...

Sainsbury's 1-a-day non drowsy loratadine anti allergy tablets have been the best I have found and only about £2 for a box of 30 from their pharmacy (although about a year ago they were selling at 65p a box of 30)

Re: Dash cams
Cyclists should have their own lane. Now the weather is becoming nicer all I see them do is ride 3 wide and don't even move out the way. The problem with a separate lane for cycles is that debris from other road users ends up in these cycle lanes causing things like punctures and the volume of cycl...

Re: Mobiles and drivers and being abused by a hot blonde
They should turn your mobile phone into part of the vehicle security. Put the phone in a docking bay, key in a PIN or finger print scan then the car will start. The car will only run if the phone is docked, so that way the driver can't use it whilst driving. It could also tie in with insurance comp...

back on topic though, from the youtube camera footage I have seen, generally the people can see what is developing but choose to ignore it and let incidents or near misses pan out seemingly to get a good video to upload (mainly in reference to the cyclist videos I have seen).

I undertake pretty much every day on the way to work, as morons just sit in the overtake lane and don't pullover. Same happens to me on a stretch of dual carriageway, they think it's ok to sit in the overtaking lane for 5 miles or so with an empty inside lane because they want to turn right at the ...

happens a lot in the places I used to mountain bike a lot, logs across tracks on blind bends and fishing wire.
