Bought a van, a white van. I am a white van man. What have you got mate,? -Is this one of those XLWB type things that have been made as a people carrier (for you to transport your whole tribe at once ) ?? Close mate, it's a six seater crew cab Transit. Three in the front, three in the middle and a ...

Yes he is, but he may just get his wish. It's going to be a very dirty fight, but bring it on.

Re: Brexit Round 2

I can't watch Question Time, it just makes me rage. :D

I'm not a fan of Abbott, never have been. She's a great constituency MP, but not Home Secretary material and frankly a PR disaster.

Having said that, the way she's been treated is absolutely appalling.

Re: HELP! Geek advice required

My lad has just started high school and I got him an iPad with a Microsoft 365 account. 5 months in and so far there's nothing he hasn't been able to do. Plus being dyslexic they let him use the camera to scan the white board.

Re: Brexit Round 2

To be fair, Monty, with a few exceptions, most of them can FO. I think we're there a GE both main parties would be surprised at how many votes they lose. I'm not sure you fully understand how general elections work. It doesn't matter what you and I think, the only thing that matters is which party ...

Kwacky wrote:My reading of May's statement is that she's now going to blame labour if a deal can't be reached. Effectively she wants the public to go against labour if there's another election.

Re: Brexit Round 2

If she loses the next one next week, does that mean we have a GE? In which case I presume common sense would mean that Article 50 is revoked before an election? My prediction bearing in mind we live in unprecedented times. She'll put the exact same deal back to the house with some wishy washy lette...

Re: Brexit Round 2

The general election will go ahead with the Brexit clock ticking. If May cancelled Brexit before a GE she would end the Tory party. The best you can hope for is an extension She is doing a damn good job of finishing the Tory party anyway :D how they ever expect to encourage young people to join the...

Re: Brexit Round 2

But she's known that since the last general election. And there in lies the truth. She's known this from the very start and she's not even involved her own party or even most of her cabinet never mind the opposition. She's simultaneously failed both sides of the argument. That vote on the the gover...

Re: Brexit Round 2

Agreeing with me is not obligatory, quite the reverse but even May won't allow a no deal in the end.

Re: Brexit Round 2

It's entirely up to May, no one else has a say at the moment.

She could revoke article 50 and call a referendum. She could extend article 50 and try to renegotiate with the EU or she could call a general election.

What she doesn't have is a mandate for no deal and Parliament won't allow it.

Re: Brexit Round 2

FFS there is a clear Labour BREXIT strategy, agreed by the whole party at conference. The Labour Party is a democracy, not a dictatorship and it's all written down if anyone could be arsed to read it. The media clearly won't point it out for you. The media want you all to believe that its Corbyn's d...
