Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Finished work at 1245. It's 2.5 miles home. Got in at 1445. Took the bike on a little circuit around Norfolk to bed the tyres in a little more. That's between 150 to 200 miles so they should be fine now. Well, the middle of them will be! (blush) Anyhoo, had a nice ride, semi-sedate during the first ...

Re: We buy any car.com

I used them once and it went through as easy as wink. As long as you show every imperfection. They wait until the direct transfer goes into your bank and the whole deal was over in less than an hour. He didn't even try and knock the price down. I think you know you would get more by selling private...

That's weird, I had a zombie dream on Monday. They were pretty fast and gaining on us. Luckily I managed to use my powers of telekinesis to fly my way out of there!

Re: ZZR1400 good touring tyres

They're what I've just had put on the Z1000. The mechanic also recommended them for mileage.
I've only put about 100 miles on then so I can't vouch for mileage claims or even how grippy they are as I'm still breaking them in. If I were going off first impressions though, they're great!

I don't know why I get so annoyed when I look at your pictures.

Oh, hang on, yes I do.

It's because they are pretty bloody good and I'm jealous.

So hang on... You've got your own place. In another country. You have a cracking bike and are thinking of getting another. You have a gorgeous, bike-riding wife. You have awesome dogs. Your Kids are all grown up and not arguing about who left the felt tip pen lids off. And now you've ordered the wor...

I don't have one, but the amount of times I've gone for that elusive 7th gear on the Zed has had me wondering the same thing.

Re: It happens...

Paying less wouldn't make me drive any worse, I still wouldn't want to be in an accident if I could help it. In fact, lowering premiums may reduce the amount of uninsured drivers on the road. Maybe not, but it's a possibility. As for permanent cameras? Say goodbye to those cheeky sunday blasts then....

Lotus Caremalised Biscuit Spread. Yep, you read that right. You know the little Caremalised biscuits you sometimes get with a brew at a cafe? Well they make a spread now. At first you think "what the deuce? This'll never work" but it does. Especially with the crunchy version. It tastes lik...

Re: The new improved fitness thread

Well, thanks to the kids I didn't get a lie in, so I'm sat here with a brew contemplating my ouchies. Last night, after a shower AND a bath (and I'm still not clean, btw) I counted at least 16 different boo-boos. There's a couple on my arms, a splinter in my hand but the majority are on my legs. In ...

Winthorpe. Apparently an old WW2 airfield.
It was right next to Newark Air Museum.

Re: The new improved fitness thread

You look surprisingly un-knackered after that Itchy ? (whew) Were you pleased with your time ? It's an illusion, I assure you. I was fairly pleased really, we aimed for a 2 hour time and came in at 1:47, having to stop once to empty our shoes, walk it out because of my ankle and on a few occasions ...
