Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

To be fair Ducati have a good reputation for fixing faults out of warranty if its a manufacturing defect.

Re: Must be getting old

Cheers, Blade. I want to try one first though. Its one bike i have never ridden but it means a dealership to at least try one.

I really enjoyed the ride on Nutz KTM last year and its a very similar set up.

Re: Must be getting old

Street fighters are obviously like rocking horse poo. I have tentatively enquired about two in the last couple of weeks only to be told they sold within hours of being advertised.

Re: Milan Bike Show - 9th -11th November 2018

Again you can get on the metro and be at the exhibition centre in a short time from Milan centre.

Re: Milan Bike Show - 9th -11th November 2018

Milan centre is better. There is not much around the exhibition centre.

Close to the Duomo is good. There is also a canal area with nightlife.

Re: Panigale V4S test ride

Seen two extremes of V4 ownership since it came out. There are those who only seem to want to be throwing more cash at them and turn them into tarts handbags and those who want to thrash them as intended.

Re: Milan Bike Show - 9th -11th November 2018

Train runs direct from airport terminal into centre of Milan. I think that was about 5 euros.

Re: Milan Bike Show - 9th -11th November 2018

Stansted is usually cheapest for Milan. Think I paid £35 last year.

Re: Talk me out of it....

dunno but I've sold a few with more than 25,000 miles on it. It depends on the age and the service history. A regularly used well serviced/maintained 30,000 sportsbike is better than a 5 year old bike with 1,000 miles on it that's only dragged out for a few weekends a year and not looked after in b...

Re: Brexit Round 2

Japan and the EU have just signed a free trade agreement. I guess that means any Japanese company currently operating in the UK needs to move to one of the EU member states. Likewise any company in the UK which supplies those Japanese companies. COME ON PEOPLE, WAKE UP. You can blame Europe as much...

Scary times, it also looks like the free Tommy protests are being funded by an ultra right wing American think tank. https://www.hopenothate.org.uk/2018/07/14/american-think-tank-funding-tommy-demos/ The master race walks amongst us! https://malatesta32.files.wordpress.com/2012/09/berks1.jpg Just a...

Re: Mrs Trump

There are thick stupid people everywhere in this Country. And most of them appear to be British.

Seems impossible to get through to people that one day you will be the enemy that the hard right seeks to demonise and then eliminate. History has proven that is ALWAYS the case.

Re: Talk me out of it....

TBH they may have done you a favour. Rightly or wrongly, a bike with 30k plus miles on it is not going to be easy to move on in a years time.
