Re: Brexit Round 2

Kwacky wrote:I heard that on the news today. The rules about having a certain % of EU parts used is going to hit us hard as companies realise they need to be using EU parts for their products.

It will no longer be viable to manufacture items in the UK for sale in the EU.

Re: Oil change procedure on Panigale V4

They check the oil level before draining it to ensure it’s at the correct level.

Re: Oil change procedure on Panigale V4

Its quite logical to only put back in what came out really. A couple of years ago when i did an oil change on the 748, Rick at JHP advised me to turn the back wheel by hand a few times once i thought all the oil had dripped out as it can get trapped in the various bits of the crank set up. Amazing w...

Re: Tesla

You are right regarding charging points. The government should now be making charging points a required part of planning permission for all out of town stores and car parks. But this is Britain - they will **** it up and say let the market sort it out, by which time we will be years behind as always...

Re: Oil change procedure on Panigale V4

1.6 hours service time according to Motorapido.

The theory is that since the engine is difficult to drain, then putting back in EXACTLY what came out, ensures the level is correct. No overfilling because it didn't all drain out.

Re: Oil change procedure on Panigale V4

The info came from the Motorapido FB page and the say its how they prepare the race bikes already. We are heading for superbikes being exactly like supercars. Very expensive toys. https://scontent.flhr2-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/35796776_10155888220409023_4633374941847224320_o.jpg?_nc_cat=0&_nc_e...

Re: Oil change procedure on Panigale V4

The engine runs scavenger oil pump apparently which means the oil takes an age to flow back into the sump once the engine is stopped. They weigh the oil to refill to ensure the correct amount is put back in so they don't need to wait another 2.5 hours. I guess it has much to do with this being a 200...

Tesla

A friend had his Tesla Model S delivered on Monday. Had my first look round it today. They really are a class act and are taking luxury motoring to another level. The car has the ability to drive him to any destination by him telling the Satnav where he wants to go. The car will park itself and driv...

Oil change procedure on Panigale V4

Copied from Internet. This seems to have been more confusing that it was intended. So a quick explanation.. the V4 motor takes at least 2.5 hours after running at full temperature for the oil sight glass to give an accurate level reading, so we leave the bike to settle while the service is complete ...

Speeding charges dropped against 4 bikers

I think the original video for this was shown on here when they were convicted on speeds over 140mph. Seems the police may not have been telling the truth. Re: Cannabis

Addicts will find another addiction, it’s not the product that draws people in to unhealthy usage of anything, it’s their predilection to being addicted.
