Re: Which Ducati Would You Recommend?

If you want something a little different, have a look at a 1098 Streetfighter.

Re: Which Ducati Would You Recommend?

£15k upwards for a 999R.

You should be able to get a 749R for £10k and it actually has more special parts than the 999 version.

Re: Which Ducati Would You Recommend?

You might just get an early base 1199 Panigale for 10k.

Otherwise a 998s or a 999s. Not sure you will get a 999R for £10k though.

Was thinking more in terms of you only needing to buy a rear for a pair. Offer is still there if you want it.

Must confess i thought he as about 41. As you say at 45, that might signal the end of his career.

Doesn't get any better for Honda either. they have withdrawn from the NW200 as they don't seem to know what caused the crash. http://www.motorcyclenews.com/sport/tt-road-races/2017/may/nw200-honda-racing-withdraw-from-north-west-after-mcguinness-crash/" onclick="window.open(this.href);retu...

Sounds like he has some fairly big breaks. Feel really sorry for him, he's a big plus to the sport. Hope he makes a full recovery.

Probably Putin. Or the Tories doing it to finish off the NHS for good so they can make money out of illness.

NHS computer system hit by Ransomware attack

How much of a Cnut do you have to be to do that?

Many NHS computer systems and departments have had to shut down.

I have a front Angel GT with plenty of tread left if you want that. The rear wouldn't unfortunately fit.

Re: 2017 Versys 650 Grand Tourer - ongoing review

I spent a bit of time making my Multi sit on its nose a little bit. Worth trying to add a little rear preload if the bike squats under acceleration.

By nature these bikes tend to sit more flat.

Re: New bike registrations

Found the stats. They make sobering reading.

Bike sales down 14% on this time last year. Sportsbikes down 26%.

Re: Things really have gone too far now

Haven't the police in London just this week uncovered a lock up with loads of stolen bikes inside? Maybe as a result of this incident.

I have heard the latest ploy is they stick a cheap tracker to parked bikes in London and then just steal them in the night when the bike is parked up at home.

Re: New tyres for the Multi - Z8s?

Yes 190/55.

They are all doing £30 off st the moment according to Jason. But Z8s were cheapest and just fancied trying something different.
