Re: Chinese Levers

Anything can fail regardless of where it is made. I think if there was a serious issue with Chinese made levees it would be all over the internet by now. I suspect many of them are made in the same factory as the Pazzo levers but on the ‘night shift ‘. I believe many of BMW bike parts are made in Ch...

Re: Weekend plans

I think we are led to believe that medicine is an exact science but really much of it is down to experience. Having seen how different doctors will diagnose completely different results from the same tests with my father, father in law and now brother in law over the last decade I think I would want...

Re: 2019 provisional Motogp calendar

They had it in June for years and the weather was shit every year.

The calendar has to fit around the logistics of moving 50 trucks and 2000 people round the world.

Why is that Duke ? They got issues ?
Too many models in the range I think.

MV is now backed by Russian money.

Best avoid the Novichok upgrades.

There is only one colour scheme any MV should be in.

After riding the Ninja 400 the other day part of me is saying I should get another sportsbike while I can still ride one. Do it! https://www.jordanbikes.com/pages/used/used-bikes/2016-16-MV%20Agusta-F3-800cc/2c92999f656718f50165801a3dc93e37.htm?YEAR=2016&REGLETTER=16&MAKE=MV%20Agusta&MO...

Might make the 853 more track orientated and keep it for trackdays in the main.

Re: Africa Twin DCT

A vehicle that gets lots of use especially travelling from A to B either for work or similar then an auto box makes so much more sense and ism so much easier to use.

I await the day when road bikes have a seamless box. But I suspect we will see the death of the ICE before then.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Went for the last evening thrash of the summer on the 853.

My body is starting to tell me that maybe I am not flexible enough to ride a sports bike on the road anymore.

Re: Africa Twin DCT

Not ridden a bike with an auto gearbox yet but the DSG box in my car is so good I wouldn't want to drive anything else.

I suspect a similar level of engineering on a bike gearbox could persuade me the same way.

Re: Lorenzo having second thoughts?

When Alex was working at Silverstone Aleix Espargaro said in a press conference that if MM was on the Ducati, he would be faster than ever as the bike suits his style. I have no doubt Ducati are fully aware of this and will do everything they can to recruit him in two years time. A perfect match I s...
