Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Organised it's annual service - cant believe i've had it a year already! It also needs some recall work done. Local dealer is really busy so cant get it done until end of August, but thats positive for them. Selling well apparently. I've also organised a new Speed Triple RS for an extended test whil...

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

Just been told, by phone, I'm not getting a pay rise. I didn't hit my target. Fair enough, but don't put my target up by 10%, make we work for people who have to supply me with the work and then move me 3 times in a year, the last person not having a full case load. I've just had a proper rant to t...

Re: What are you doing today ??

Currently waiting for my own private helicopter for a emergency medivac from offshore. Sitting on a fentanyl drip. Oh boy you are all going to laugh... Highly suspected I have a testicular tortion. Basically I’ve twisted my nut in my nutsack and I’m strangling it to death. If it is and I don’t get ...

Re: Fatality at Southern 100

Awful news.

It's been a terrible year for riders, especially some well known leading ones.

Fingers crossed for those still in hospital.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

30 miles on reserve and still I can only get 17.5 litres in a tank that's supposed to hold 21 litres. I think someone is telling fibs. Sounds like the triumph - i have 3+ litres in the tank after the dash has gone bananas and says i have 0 miles left. I suppose you really do have no excuse to run o...

Re: KTM 790 Duke at Pikes Peak

I love the look of the 790. Blinged up like that its looks awesome. Imagine a bike 160kg race wet weight. It was only 5 seconds slower than the 1290R Superduke and the Multi 1260 which were second and first place respectively. My only reservation with the 790 was the build quality. At the show it w...
