Re: What are you doing today ??

Mourning.

The old figurehead of our household, Mrs Cookiemonster's granny and the kids Great Granny has died suddenly aged 99 3/4.

I'll miss the old bugger, she was quite a lady. A few tears and sadness today, all part of life.

Re: What are you doing today ??

Not going anywhere today. Massive fuel protests in France. Lots of roads blocked too.

Good on the frenchies - if they are not happy they take action rather than doing nothing.

Re: What are you doing today ??

From my experience, the chance to move up the ladder only really comes once, so it boils down to: Are you career minded enough to give up some of the life you’ve got now? Or, is your work/life/money balance satisfying as is? Fwiw, on 360 days of the year I’m in the latter camp. Good luck with your ...

Re: Homelesness UK

........ Blimey. Fwiw I had call to visit an address in the North of Hull city the other week. I used a SatNav to take me there, it was on a large estate. The houses were good solidly built 1940-50's authority , judging by the construction, Semi's on fairly wide streets & logically laid out str...

Re: Norton Atlas

Thats nice for the money. I reckon they will sell all they make. Norton still evokes a lot of memories for many bikers too.

Maybe this is their way of further ramping up numbers at the factory.

To be honest i think they will be next out with their government, closely followed by Poland it's rumoured.

I dont like Brexit but i doubt we will be the last country to leave once our deal is sadly done.

Re: Brexit Round 2

I've just watched Prime Ministers question time while eating my lunch. Judging by how evasive she was with the very people who need to vote on these agreements, this is never going to pass IMO. It's a hostile crowd before they even know the details. PM wouldnt even commit to when MP's would see the ...
