They get a good write up. Not my style of sports bike but very capable.

Good fun when it's not yours

Mushy, Safe, Smiley and Knob modes. I wish you could rename them. Sport allows the front end to bounce along the tarmac while ...

I can see me making the change one day, next 5 years no, but look at bikes like the Energica Egos, The teccnology is getting closer and closer and more within reach of normal people. 30 min quick charge and a range of 93 miles, they are getting there. http://www.energicamotor.com/energica-ego-elect...

Re: Austrian GP
Lorenzo apparently used to much fuel in the first few laps and ended the race with 60ml left. Does look like he is getting to grips with the bike now though. Interesting as the commentators thought Ducati were fuel saving so they could turn them up at the end. I really don't like racing that restri...

Its certainly a good first test - at least you have an offer of help from JHP if it doesn't.duke63 wrote:Crankcase cover now refitted. Just need to get a new oil filter and refill the oil and coolant and then see how it goes.

Thats really interesting. It is the future.
It's the lack of noise i'd struggle with most of all.
Could you commute on it?

Re: Cookie's Street Triple 765 R
Long ride to Cognac and back yesterday. Sadly a lot of it was damp or wet roads, but it is interesting to ride a new bike and tyre combo in the wet. The weather in France has been relatively poor this summer and yesterday was 18 - 20 degrees and damp or sopping wet. It got as low as 15 when raining....

Been out for another zip about this afternoon. Now at 414km's so halfway run in :) You start to notice little things once you've got comfy on a bike. A couple of negatives presently are the back brake which isn't strong - maybe needs bleeding or i need to use it more. The indicator and mode switches...

:D I can't argue with that. Thats generally been my week without the higher rev range (much). I stuck mine in sport mode for 2 mins and decided it was a bad idea until it's run it :D - as you say - weapon mode. I couldn't keep the revs down. A lot of people have said the Arrow on the 765 doesn't add...

I agree - great on a warm day or a track, but i'm not sure i'd want them as a tyre in all conditions.duke63 wrote:Even managed to spin up the rear on Cookies new 765 on Thursday in the damp. That has Rosso Corsas too.
