Re: The new improved fitness thread

back and shoulders tonight, I was hanging as I woke up early this morning, so pumped myself full of caffeine. Never a good move.

Re: Brexit Round 2

Good to see another Brexit funder following his own advice and investing in Britain. (facepalm) Dyson is a tax avoider who 'pays' his tax in Malta and doesn't manufacture anything in the UK. What a total ****! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-45950377 I see Singapore has just agreed a new trade ...

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

Rant away mate, it sounds like you're both under the cosh. I really hope things turn around for both of you. The benefits system is crap. We've got an admin here who has just had a pay rise. She's got 3 kids, her husband has just returned to work, they're both doing what they can to make their lives...

Re: Police numbers

I'm sure there'll be a private patrol I can subscribe to in the next couple of years.

I wonder how long it'll be before the fire services go back to being owned by insurance companies?

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

I'm still getting used to having a centre stand on a bike. The AT isn't the lightest either so it can take a couple of goes to get it on to the stand.

Gotham - Final series

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQwekcUfXZg I'm mixed about the fact they're ending it. They need to, so they don't step on the toes of the Batman origin stories, but I've really enjoyed the way they've shown the dark side of Gotham and the way that's enabled the villains to be the centrepiece of B...

Re: Death of the DVD.

We use my son's playstation as a Blu-ray player.

The problem with relying on Netflix and Amazon for your films is that they're all too frequently censored.

Re: 2017 Versys 650 Grand Tourer - ongoing review

I've bought some corrosion block grease for the little greenie. Rather than getting it cleaned and ACF50'd before the winter, this year I thought I would get some grease and a paintbrush and see how effective the grease is. It's from the same people who do ACF50 so I'm hoping it's going to be good. ...

You can't think of any examples where this happens?

Re: What are you doing today ??

It's a shame that so much reliance is placed on a verbal interview when it's clear that not everyone has the skillset to deal with a grilling. Note very job requires you to be face to face with people, so it can often be a useless way to assess.

Re: World's longest sea crossing

There's millions of Chinese. No one is going to miss a few.

Life does seem to be very cheap in China. There's far too much online footage of nasty car crashes out there.

Re: Kwacky's ongoing Africa Twin Adventure Sport review

Adjustable foot gear lever on order. The shift tip can be set into 1 of 6 positions. The stock one is a bit short for those of us with proper sized feet.
