Re: What are you doing today ??

I think you're right, but that has to be on the decline as younger people become less interested in driving. Most blokes reckon they're a good driver. Handing control over to a computer can't be something they're going to accept easily.

Re: What are you doing today ??

it was Duke who talked about the lack of need to own one.

I'm surprised how many of the Tankslap twitter followers are against electric and driverless cars. No doubt they'll be ranting online as soon as the first driverless car hurts a pedestrian.

Re: What are you doing today ??

Arguing with people on twitter who insist that electric cars are "a non-starter".

I'm trying to point out that we've already got them and that's the way the motor industry is going.

Re: What you watching?

I tried to watch it. But I can't. There are enough arseholes in the world without having them pushed on to my TV screen.

Re: 44 Teeth review the new Tiger 1200

Triumph do make great handling bikes.

It'll be interesting to see how it fares next to the Superduke GT and the Multistrada.

Re: Brexit Round 2

Maybe it is wishful thinking, but May has pissed off the DUP and there are splits in both parties over the course of Brexit. The EU have said they're putting talks off until March now. They're doing a great job of delaying the process, but the Tories aren't using the time to get their act together. ...

Re: Interceptor video

It's like someone on acid in the 1980s watched Tron and Blade Runner whilst on acid then went home and decided this is the sort of bike people in 2020 will be riding.

Re: Brexit Round 2

This could be the tip of a revolt. If those who don't support May can see her government can be defeated it may encourage others to go against her.

Re: schumacher latest

But out of all of those only Senna was my hero. So the others don't count.

First time I ever cried at the news of a stranger's death. It hit me and I struggled to understand why.

Re: Pirelli Rosso Corsa 2

I do miss that TC safety net at this time of year. Thankfully the Versys is heavy and under powered so it's not really an issue

One of the most talented drivers. The best? Hard to say. He and Senna didn't have enough time on the track together. Both were ruthless.
