I wasn't that impressed with the RC8 brakes. Not enough grab for me.

Re: 2014 Kawasaki Z1000SX ongoing review
15,000 service done, although the bike isn't quite there on the mileage I wanted it doing this month while the dealer isn't too busy and so it's ready for Spring. New chain and sprockets and the crash bungs have been fitted. The mechanic said that it was quicker to replace the air filter than clean ...

Re: In, out or shake it all about?
The European Union is more than just a simple trade agreement. It goes beyond that. The idea is to promote and support all countries within the Union. Part of that means the richer countries spending money in helping the poorer countries in improving them, in all aspects. The logic is that by improv...

Thanks.
It was strapped up last night after having a bag of frozen peas sat on it for an hour. I managed ot get it strapped again this morning. It's sore and I'm hobbling about but I'm sure I'll survive.

Re: In, out or shake it all about?
Why are you fixated on just the trade element of it? it's a Union, there are several strands to it.

Re: In, out or shake it all about?
Because we've been fighting each other since we picked up clubs. Look at the former Yugoslavia, the issues between Turkey and Greece, the fishing wars of the 1970s. Would Western Germany have been able to keep DDR at bay or lose the other half of Berlin had it not been backed by the armed forces of ...

Re: In, out or shake it all about?
The problem Blade is that it is incredibly difficult to quantify. £55m a day is the gross figure. Looking simply at the money we get back that £55m drops down to £24m. But that's just in direct payments. That's not looking at trade or employment or anything else, that's simply money paid out to the ...

That's Yammers. The Black Country accent in full flow is baffling. It's hard to believe these people live less than 20 miles away and effectively speak (sorry, spake) another language.

Re: Chain and sprockets
I was warned off DID a few years ago, but by all accounts they took on board the criticism and they're not back to being high quality
The issue I'm told is that they were failing in races due to the change in quality of the chains.

Kwacky's Kwik KTM 1190 Adventurer Review
I'm at work so I'll do a brief post now and flesh it out later. I've got this as a bike for the day while they work on z1000sx. First impressions - it's no beauty but looks sturdy and practical. That seat looks very tall, which is confirmed when I finally sit on it. I'm just shy of 6 foot and I can ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Blade I left it to Kwak to decide on the chain and sprockets. The mechanic told me that the OEM stuff on the SX is very good so I might end up with that.

Yeah exactly.. he took me to my first trackday too and was keen to get me racing with him in an Endurance team but sadly, on that very trackday he crashed at 120mph on the kink at Pembrey and hasn't been the same since - he was in hospital for a few days with head injuries and has since fainted mul...

Re: In, out or shake it all about?
I keep hearing we give the EU £55 million a day which is shocking with the the way our schools, hospitals and indeed all public services are currently under funded and under resourced. Can some one please explain what value we get back for this huge sum of money. DUKE suggested we get more out than...
