Re: Slappers in France - June 2016
Monty, I don't think mine was ever designed to be waterproof. It doesn't look like it. I've certainly come home enough times with a bag full of water.
I know about the liners but that doesn't stop the water getting in and the front pouch getting soaked. The Overboard stuff is roll top and very good.

Re: Slappers in France - June 2016
Thanks Duke. I've got the US10 and the straps for it. I've got a large Overboard waterproof bum bag as well.
I've got a R35 as well but it's not waterproof, which is a pain for such an expensive piece of kit.

Re: Mr Postman
Seems like the helmet is being shipped with Fedex UK. I had known I wouldn't have bothered. According to the tracking site they've tried 2 times (they've not). If the third attempt fails it goes back go the shop. I've had problems with Fedex before. I saw a bloke put cards in 3 houses without even t...

Re: Tesla fans
I can't see why anyone would be against the idea of an electric car. Once the government gives the green light to driverless vehicles I reckon the petrol engine will be pretty much a thing of the past on our roads.

Can't do Darley, I'm in France.
Let me know what it's like though. I only every see it as a place people use for racing. I've never considered a track day there.

I can't make that one.
It's not the cheapest of tracks is it? There's a Saturday date in May which is £189. With fuel. food and a hotel I reckon I'm looking at £300.
All of the other dates seem to be a Tuesday or a Wednesday.

Still nothing from IAM.
That's pretty disappointing. It's not the right way to drum up interest.

I would use one of the delivery companies.
Someone like these http://www.motorcycledeliveryuk.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Tesla fans
I suspect that the range will increase as the technology improves and that you'll be able to upgrade the power cells rather than having to get a new car.
That said, the range is going to be good enough for most people who own a car of that size.
