Thanks Perkles
I'm properly excited for trackdays next year as I will be shedding some weight off the bike and giving the brakes and suspension some attention

Re: New Speed Triple
I've seen worse designs but yes, what's supposed to be new about this thing? Still hideously under powered, still hideously overweight and IMO less attractive than previous models. If they gave it another 20bhp and remove the MASSIVE exhausts this bike would probably right up there. I felt embarress...

Re: Hourly pay rate of...
I'd like to trial an idea I've had for about over 7 years now but I don't have the money for it. I'd also like to buy my own house by the time I'm 25 but that won't be happening because my girlfriend can't work through disability. You HAVE to be in a partnership with both people earning £25k or more...

Re: H2R Brands Hatch lap
I hate how they look but I would love to come against one at the track. I Had a little tear up against an S1000RR at Donington - that was good fun!!

Re: Tyre options for the SX
I would say that's a fair enough reason to get those tyres.. I both love and hate buying something new and untested - love it because it's new and hate it because I don't know if I'm going to like it. It's the same with brakes, tyres and trackdays. Obviously there's an easy answer for trackdays - do...

Re: The new improved fitness thread
That seems unnecessarily complicated. I did a lot of 5x5 training before when I reached a plateau. I did roughly 90% of my 1 rep max with enough rest to regain my breathing. As an example I would do 5x5 24kg incline dumbbell press, after maybe 6 weeks I was at 30kg. Because this was the heaviest my ...

Re: Tyre options for the SX
If in your shoes I would get Michelin PR3 or PR4.
That said, the Racetec K3s are actually really good in the wet. So are supercorsas! Very predictable as long as you stay on the treaded part of the tyre

Re: Kawasaki Spirit Charger
I do love the top end scream of a 600.
For the road I would love a Tuono V4
For the track I dont need anymore than a 600 but yes, if I could get a bike with the same engine characteristics but with 60 more bhp throughout the rev range then that would be good fun

I'm an Apprentice on Salary pay but it works out about £9.90/hour.
I live with my girlfriends family and pay rent. I could just about manage to rent a place but only just - I wouldn't be able to afford fuel to get to work though
