I too am a long term shoei user about 8 too date I think... I was determined to look at every possible option (and did), and I came to the following conclusion: Track day/race/blast out - Shoei X-Spirit 2 Touring/everyday - Shoei GT Air I almost spent the £699 on the crutchlow rep (really wanted it)...

Wifey used to come out on the bike years ago, but died off after we got we'd... Went out about 18 months ago and bought her a load of new gear; she's not even been out on the bike in them...

First there was sun and an enjoyable ride up to the Raven.. Spanking breakfast & met up with Deano.. Ride out heading for Betsy coed; & then the rain came... We turned back and went to the Ponderosa at the top of the Horshoe pass (we braked for cake)... With the rain threatening to turn bibl...

I'll look to be at the Raven for 09:00 tomorrow.. Reckon it'll take me a couple of hours to get there...
We can ride, reschedule, abort or all of the above...

I'll check on the forum int the morning to see if anyone's going, but I plan to be there barring disasters..
