Re: PipeWerx

Erm.. If there is genuinely choice and money no issue.. No comments required :-) however I too wonder about pipewerx and been looking for the tiger. Reasonable price providing it doesn't burn out fast..ie internals deteriorate like some cheap cans I heard horror stories about.

Re: Baffling

My crossplane is decat and db killer removed.. Plus I think the baffles are worn in the cans.. It's effing loud. After riding my tiger on stock can it now kinda annoys me riding the R1 in that state.. Or now I hit 40 on Tuesday maybe I'm ageing and its the first sign :-)

Re: GMP unmarked HGV

I was taking scenic route from Stoke to London yesterday.. Almost got caught by an unmarked biker cop. All black apart from white helmet with copper written on the back :)

Re: Supercorsa's in the wet?

Hmm if you can't give it the beans I don't see the point to be honest. May aswell have a ride round the twisties or b roads.. Same amount of caution being exercised and less likely to taken out by a dick.. I don't see the fun of going to track when you can't ride it like your on track. Horses for co...

Re: Supercorsa's in the wet?

Personally if it's wet I wouldn't bother going out.. I'd write off a few quid over several hundred quid of potential damage if you do drop it due to being wet. You'd kick your self after. It's the gamble you take when booking a trackday. Again personally.... I've never spun up a back tyre as easy as...

Re: Tyres for a big bike

PR4 excellent in wet and mileage not bad either. Track day shit after 2nd session.. Limped on 3rd and dared not go out on last session.. Angel ST for me by far best all round I've used tracked and long haul plus daily commute. Got 10k miles out a rear on the R1 albeit down to steel band. I've had se...

Re: Tyres, the great deabte

Always used to believe it was hard to tell. However on the third session at brands on some PR4 I contemplated coming back in and I didn't do the last session. Felt like I was riding on oily tyres..the weirdest feeling I've ever known. But would praise them to anyone in session one as felt great.. RE...

Re: That there London

The other point is that is stated bikes contribute 1% of emissions. And most bikes are kept for years. This will make resale of 8 year old bike around London impossible regardless of condition.. So.. Is it really greener to make people buy new bikes more frequently .. Considering manufacturing proce...

Yeah all the Googling reveals nothing but blocking motor vehicle in green lanes and complaints by hikers and farmers.. Seems a lost pastime now in this country

Anyone done any green laning?

Looking to do some V light stuff on the tiger (know it's not the ideal bike) but it's a tool at the end of the day so plan to have some fun.

Anyone know of routes around Stoke or east London?

Cheers
