Re: What are you doing today ??

Last full night of night shift. Tomorrow night I work from 6 pm-10 pm go to bed then get up to be at work at 6 am to start two weeks of day shifts. This should be interesting! At least I get to swap back out here rather than at home, so after 4 weeks out here I'll just be burnt out, rather than burn...

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

Bl**dy barstards at Auspost. Jess' birthday present I bought online from NZ (some jewelry from a designer she loves) made it all the way to the sorting depot for our area 20km from my local PO, and decided that they could read the address. Since it made it to the area I'd say someone has been rough ...

Re: Didn't He Do Well?

I remember watching him on TV in NZ as a kid as well, we got all your cast off TV shows :)

The line I always remember was "Nice to see you, nice to see you...nice!"

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

work, have been totally thrashed the last four nights and to top it off we have a major emergency drill in the morning after work before I go to bed. I've been wringing wet all night from sweat (still 28 deg C and 70% humidity through the night) and soon I'll have to get in full turnout gear and BA ...

Re: Test Ride - 2017 GSXR 1000

I get bar vibration, seat vibration, erm well everything vibrates.. The "character" of a twin showing through.. lol.. Is it possible your hand was slightly off the end of the grip? I used to do that on the track banana and it would feel kind of buzzy.. The Multi doesn't have any bar vibes...

Re: What are you doing today ??

Night shift... was supposed to be on days but someone has gone sick, so I'm filling in his position for a week, then swap back to days for the remaining 3 weeks.. unless the plan changes again. Normally stay up late in Darwin if I'm coming onto nights so I can get some sleep through the day once I ...

With you there, but it's good for bolstering alcoholic content. We dumped about half a litre into the 3 litres of mull cider we made the other weekend (devil)

Re: Test Ride - 2017 GSXR 1000

Good read Rossgo, not boring at all. And easier to read than some of your posts so you must have reviewed it a few times (lol)

I was the same as you, thought I'd be intimidated by a thou, but once you get on them it's a doodle! And as you say, not as much hard work!

Re: Super Soco Electric Bike/Moped review

I'd buy that bike now if the price was reasonable and charging stations were plentiful. I like new tech and I'm open to electric bikes when they mirror performance, range and price of what I ride now. As for being my only bike, not just yet. As for women and electrical devices, as a fly away worker ...

Re: Super Soco Electric Bike/Moped review

Semantics well not really, because you touted Kwacky's examples used energy not produced it (i'm guessing suggesting the scooter does) but the electronics Kwacky mentioned, convert potential energy to heat/light energy. All the items in including the scooter use batteries to store their potential e...

nothing "uses" it, everything coverts it.. the electric bike just converts potential energy into kinetic energy
