Found the forum the current owner hangs out on... here's the thread from when he bought it.. third owner from that site alone http://www.ksrc-au.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=38963&hilit=ducati_paul It's good to be able to do some stalking on the history of the bike. But one of the reasons...

Theres a lot of well priced track bikes around at the moment in Aus, but that was definitely a good deal. I'll be nervy as hell first time out, but still well excited by the prospect!

Re: lockwire.

I was the first generation of metric in NZ, but then worked on American and British aircraft in the airforce so immersed in imperial for a good 20 years.

SO in reality I'm shouldn't be casting stones (wasntme)

Re: lockwire.

I've used 32 thou stainless before (dirt bike grips). I'd worry about 20 thou cutting the rubber, but someone may know better. I'm going off the grades we used on aircraft in my air force days, you maybe able to get your hands on something more suitable.

Anyone had much experience with these bikes?? A sublime trackday tool by all accounts mate. My trackday buddy has one & not much gets close to him on a good day. He has a much newer BMX S1000rr, & still rates his ZX10 higher. I can't comment on it personally though, as he's strangely reluct...

Deals like that only happen once, I'd PayPal him a small holding deposit that you can afford to lose, if you really can't get it through she-who-must-be-obeyed you've only lost 50 bucks or so, if she's ok with it you've got a minter for a bargain price. Does it have ownership papers or something th...

Re: Brits Abroad

I work with plenty of Brits and Scots and I must say they are the best bunch of blokes. Plenty of good natured ribbing goes on and I reckon the platform would be worse of with out them. But it is a 'dry camp' maybe that's the difference! Aussies in Bali are just as bad so I don't think it's a purely...
