First thing I noticed is the mirrors though, here in Aussie you have to remove or tape them so you can't use them. They want your focus to be ahead not behind.

Is it just limited due to the colour schemes or have they done something useful and put some 'limited' quality bling/components on it too? It obviously works because they sell, but I'd never buy a limited release that is based purely on a colour scheme. That doesn't make a difference to my ride, but...

I really don't get the whole gold wheels thing, but then I don't like gold anything really. Even my wedding band, it was titanium.

Not good to hear, but her luck was in that she was with a group of experienced and well trained riders so her help was immediate and because of that she will be in a much better position to recover. The situation could have been a lot worse if she was out solo.

I was surprised how readonable the insurance was on mine, AU$500. And I didn't ring around as I was on the bike about to ride from the shop and realised I hadn't got any so just rang my current insurer on the spot.

Pretty much how mine is configured atm too. The shorty dark smoke screen I put on completely got rid of the buffeting I had with the touring screen.
