Re: KTM 790 Duke - Review

Yeah when the RC8 was launched it was billed as a high end premium product and I think that is where and why I assumed the quality was high.

Re: Just one bike

Leasing rarely works well in my experience as the leasing company expect the vehicle to be returned in perfect condition. They have the option to charge for issues they think should be rectified. I expect however that nearly all new vehicles will be leased once electric vehicles become the norm. Tb...

Re: KTM 790 Duke - Review

I always thought KTM were of good quality but hearing more and more owners reporting quality issues.

Has something changed at the factory or were they always questionable quality wise?

Re: KTM 790 Duke - Review

I can't get past the looks. Just looks cheap.

Might be a good ride but the Triumph looks at better quality and designed product.

Re: Just one bike

Can you lease a bike?

Not looked into myself, but a guy at work reckons it was massively cheaper (in his circumstances) to lease his car
rather than PCP finance it.

Only suggest as you mentioned like paying rent.

Re: What are you doing today ??

Helped an old dude on a Royal Enfield. Came round a bend and bike and biker are lying in the road on a blind bend. Not a good sight. Long story short he was a old gentleman, got the bike in 3rd gear for a 1st gear corner, bike bogged down and he lost his balance. Not much damaged to bike or rider. H...

Re: Just one bike

No worries Kwacky.

Each to their own. PCP is popular and has a place I don't dispute that. I just can't accept finance is cheaper and thats all im saying. However its dressed up, it costs money to borrow money.

Anyway what you buying? Any decisions?
