Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Made a shim to take some of the free play out of the OEM gear linkage and adjusted the QS shift rod length to that stated in the manual as previous owner had set differently.

Hopefully the mods will give a slicker gear shift (wasntme)

Re: What are you doing today ??

Is the 848 much cheaper to run Duke????

Would the extra torque of the 1098 not suit the bike more than an 848?

Might be worth a test ride on both bikes (y)

Re: Scott Redding in BSB with Ducati

Birdy has been a long time admirer of Scott Redding. He backed him and supported him a lot in his junior days.

Re: Scott Redding in BSB with Ducati

With Haslam and Dixon away, if the v4r is competative from the off, it'll be another title for birdy.

Agreed. The akrapovic end cans are 2700 and the full system just over 4k. Completely ridiculous (devil)

Re: Scott Redding in BSB with Ducati

Don't forget Scott grew up learning his trade on these tracks. As long as he wants it and doesn't just turn up for the big cheque (wasntme) then once the new v4r is dialled in he will be quick of that I'm sure. He is in a very good team with direct factory support and Birdy tends not to pick bad egg...

Re: Scott Redding in BSB with Ducati

Good spot Duke (y) you got there before Scott (rock)

Media had said he would announce on instrgram this morning but despite regular checks there has been nothing so far.

Should be good for the series, but shame Shakey has gone, especially under circumstances he did.
